Brake Disc – Front Wheel Brake, Remove and
Install

Remove front wheels

Mark position in relation to centre of wheel
|

Detach brake disc locking bolt (1) on wheel hub
|
|
| 3. |
Detach fasting bolts for retaining frame (2) with brake
calliper from steering knuckle and hang up

Detach brake disc (3) from wheel hub
|
|
|
|
Install
| 4. |
Place brake disc (1) on wheel hub and fit to wheel hub using
locking bolt (2) - tightening torque 7
Nm
|
| 5. |
Clean thread for brake calliper retaining frame on steering
knuckle
| • |
Coat fastening bolts for brake calliper retaining frame with
locking compound
|
|
| 6. |
Fit retaining frame and brake calliper to steering knuckle
using fastening bolts (3) - tightening torque 100 Nm .
|
| 7. |
Install brake linings – see operation "Brake Linings,
Front Wheel Brake, Remove and Install" in this group.
|
| 8. |
Fit front wheels - tightening torque 110 Nm .
