Parking Brake Cable – Right, Remove and
Install (Vehicles with Disc Brakes)
Remove
1. |
Detach rear wheel
• |
Mark position in relation to centre of wheel
|
• |
Detach ball head of right parking brake cable (1) from lever
for parking brake cable on brake calliper
|
|
2. |
Detach retaining plate (2) from parking brake cable at
counterhold
• |
Remove parking brake cable from counterhold
|
• |
Detach right parking brake cable from guide (3) on rear axle
body
|
|
3. |
Detach right parking brake cable (4) from compensator (5) on
centre parking brake cable.

4. |
Remove right parking brake cable
|
|
|
Install
5. |
Attach right parking brake cable (1) in compensator (2) for
centre parking brake cable
|
6. |
Attach parking brake cable in guide (3) on rear axle body
|
7. |
Insert right parking brake cable at brake calliper counterhold
(4) and secure with new retaining plate
|
8. |
Attach ball head (5) of parking brake cable to lever for
parking brake on brake calliper
|
|
|
9. |
Fit rear wheel - tightening torque 110
Nm
|
