Removing and installing load-dependent brake
proportioning valve, models F 08, F 08 & W5L, F 68
 Remove
| 1. |
Detach seal (1) for plenum chamber as far as necessary.

| 2. |
Raise covering flap (2) for brake master cylinder
|
| 3. |
Detach cover (3) of brake fluid reservoir
|
| 4. |
Detach all brake lines (4) from brake force regulator

Detach fastening bolts (5) for brake force regulator
|
| • |
Remove brake force regulator (6), to do this detach spring from
rear axle
|
|
|
|
Install
| 5. |
Attach spring from brake force regulator in rear axle
bracket
|
| 6. |
Attach force regulator (6) to vehicle underbody with fastening
bolts (5) - tightening torque 20 Nm
|
| 7. |
Attach all brake lines (4) to brake force regulator –
tightening torque 16 Nm
|
| 8. |
Adjust brake force regulator
|
| 9. |
Detach MKM-558-10 from brake master
cylinder
|
| 10. |
Bleed brake system and check for leaks 
|
|
