Brake Pedal with Pedal Support, Remove and Install
(Vehicles with LHD)
 Remove
| 2. |
Remove fastening bolt (1) for brake pedal bracket support from
bulkhead
|
| 3. |
Release brake light switch wiring harness plug (2) and
disconnect
|
| 4. |
Detach brake light switch (3) from brake pedal mounting 
|
| 5. |
Unclip fastening clip (4) of brake light wiring harness at
pedal mounting
|
|
|
| 6. |
Detach retaining clip (1) of piston rod fastening bolt on brake
pedal
| • |
Detach brake pedal return spring (3) from brake pedal
|
|
| 7. |
Remove piston rod fastening bolt (2) on brake pedal
| • |
Detach fastening nuts (arrows) for brake pedal mounting on
bulkhead
|
|
| 8. |
Remove fastening nuts (4) for pedal mounting on pedal mounting
support
| • |
Remove brake pedal with pedal mounting
|
|
|
|
Install
| 9. |
Insert brake pedal with pedal mounting in fastening bolt on
bulkhead
Note: Ensure that the
piston rod of the brake servo is seated in the brake pedal!

attach with new fastening nuts
| – |
Tightening torque, pedal mounting to bulkhead 20 Nm
|
|
|
| 10. |
Attach fastening bolt for brake pedal to piston rod for brake
servo
| • |
secure with retaining clip
|
| • |
Attach brake pedal return spring to brake pedal
|
|
| 11. |
Attach support for brake pedal mounting to pedal mounting with
new fastening nuts (1)
Note: Only fit nuts
loosely.

| 12. |
Attach fastening bolt (2) for support of brake pedal mounting
to bulkhead
| • |
Tightening torque 20 Nm
|
|
| 13. |
Tighten fastening nuts (1) for support for brake pedal
mounting
| • |
Tightening torque 20 Nm
|
|
| 14. |
Attach brake light switch (4) to pedal mounting
|
| 15. |
Connect wiring harness plug (3) for brake light switch to brake
light switch
| • |
Clip wiring harness (5) for brake light switch to pedal
mounting
