XEP, without air conditioning, LHD)
Note: In vehicles as
of model year 04 onwards with ESP - the steering angle sensor loses
its basic adjustment each time the battery is disconnected, and
must be recalibrated
Remove

Drain coolant

Place collecting basin underneath.

• |
Open drain bolt (arrow)
|

Remove upper radiator hose (1)
|
5. |
Detach lower radiator hose (2) from radiator
|
|
|
6. |
Detach overflow hose from radiator
|
7. |
Disconnect fan motor wiring harness plug
|
8. |
Release lower radiator bracket
• |
Swing both radiator brackets aside.
|
• |
Carefully lay radiator aside
|
|
|
|
9. |
Remove air intake pipe (1)
|
|
|
10. |
Remove fan housing
• |
Remove fan housing upwards carefully
|
|
|
|
11. |
Remove radiator
• |
Carefully remove radiator upwards.
|
|
12. |
Pull off 2 rubber bearings
|
Install

Fit 2 rubber bearings
|
14. |
Insert radiator
• |
Close coolant drain bolt
|
|
17. |
Fasten lower radiator bracket
|
18. |
Connect fan motor wiring harness plug
|
20. |
Connect lower radiator hose
|
21. |
Install upper radiator hose
|
23. |
Calibrate steering angle sensor
• |
Rotate the steering wheel one time from its right-hand to its
left-hand stop.
