Inlet manifold - Z 13 DT DOHC diesel engine

The plastic inlet manifold of the Z 13 DT engine is bolted to the cylinder head with nine fastening bolts.

In the inlet manifold, the charge air is mixed with the recirculated exhaust gas and thanks to the slight bend in the inlet ports, is swirled which produces a better cylinder charge.

Components which are fitted to the inlet manifold:

• Charge pressure sensor
• Exhaust gas recirculation system
• Charge air pipe
• Oil separator
• Oil dipstick guide tube
