Front Reaction Member, Replace (Z 17 DTH, With Air Conditioning, LHD)

  Remove

1.   Open bonnet
Important:   On vehicles with ESP - the steering angle sensor loses its basic adjustment each time the battery is disconnected. It must be recalibrated
2.   Disconnect battery
•   Detach ground cable
3.   Raise vehicle
4.   Remove front reaction member
•   Unscrew 2 bolts
•   Undo bolted connection

  Install

5.   Install front reaction member
•   Tighten 2x bolts 95 Nm
•   Tighten bolted connection 60 Nm
6.   Lower vehicle
7.   Connect battery
•   Connect ground cable.
8.   Program volatile memory
9.   Close bonnet
