Spark plugs - Z 10 XEP and Z 14 XEP engine

The Z 10 XEP and Z 14 XEP engines have new spark plugs from Bosch with the designation FQR 8 LEU2.

The specified electrode gap is now (0.85...0.95) mm, compared with the earlier value of (0.90...1.10) mm for the old spark plug FLR 8 LDCU.

•  Service:
It is essential that the specified spark plug change interval of 4 years or 60,000 km is adhered to and that the specified electrode gap of (0.85...0.95) mm has been checked and adjusted if necessary.

Otherwise there will be greater erosion of the centre electrode, which may result in damage to the DIS ignition module.
