Throttle Valve Potentiometer (Double Signal),
Multec/Trionic (MY 2001, MY 2002 and MY 2003), Simtec (MY 2001 and
MY 2002)
Objective:
Checking the electrical and mechanical functions of the throttle
valve potentiometer.
Measurement:
Voltage plot of both signal outputs of the throttle valve
potentiometer.
Preparation:
Switch off the engine and ignition.
Connections:

Connect the red measurement lead to pin D (Z16XEP: C) of the
connection plug on the throttle valve potentiometer. Connect the
black ground lead to ground.

Connect the grey measurement lead to pin A (Z16XEP: G) of the
connection plug on the throttle valve potentiometer.

Procedure Tech 31:

Download the Reference curve. |

Start the engine. |
| 3. |
Depress the accelerator pedal quickly down to the
limit stop and then release it again. |
