Pedal Position Double Signal, All Petrol (MY 2002,
MY 2003 and MY 2004)
Note: This operation
does not apply to 6VD1 and Y22SE engines and does not apply to
Vectra/Signum Z22SE engines
Objective:
Checking the electrical and mechanical functions of the pedal
position sensor.
Measurement:
Plot of voltage at the signal outputs of the pedal position
sensor.
Preparation:
Switch off the engine and ignition.
Connections:

Connect the red measurement lead to pin 6 ( Agila: 1, Omega RHD:
1 ) of the connection plug on the pedal position sensor. Connect
the black ground lead to ground.

Connect the grey measurement lead to pin 3 ( Agila: 4, Omega
RHD: 5 ) of the connection plug on the pedal position sensor.

Download Reference curve. |

Switch on the ignition. |
| 3. |
Depress the accelerator pedal quickly down to the
limit stop, keep it down for approximately half a second and then
release it again. |

Switch on the ignition. |
