Replace exhaust manifold gasket (cast manifold version) > < Pedal Position Double Signal, All Petrol (MY 2002, MY 2003 and MY 2004)

Corsa C

Replace front crankshaft seal ring (Z 10 XE, Z 10 XEP, without air conditioning, LHD)

  Remove

1.   Open bonnet
2.   Raise vehicle
3.   Remove ribbed V-belt cover
Note:   With model variant "ECO" - remove lower engine compartment cover LUREF_1.gif
•   Unscrew 3 bolts (1)
•   Remove clip (arrow)

4.   Remove ribbed V-belt
Note:   Mark running direction
•   Tension ribbed V-belt tensioner in direction of arrow with KM-6131
•   Remove from crankshaft ribbed V-belt pulley
•   Insert KM-955-2 (1)
•   Release ribbed V-belt tensioner

5.   Detach crankshaft ribbed V-belt pulley (1)
•   Unscrew 6 bolts
•   Counterhold at crankshaft hub bolt
6.   Loosen crankshaft hub bolt
Note:   Second person required
•   Attach KM-956-1 / KM-956-2 (3)
•   Counterhold KM-956-1 / KM-956-2
7.   Remove crankshaft hub (2)
Note:   Pay attention to installation position
•   Remove bolt
•   Remove with KM-956-1 / KM-956-2
8.   Remove front crankshaft seal ring
Note:   Do not damage sealing surface
•   Lever out timing case seal ring
9.   Clean sealing surfaces
•   Timing case, crankshaft hub

  Install

Object Number: 2410545 Size: DEFAULT

10.   Install front crankshaft seal ring (1)
•   Coat sealing lips with silicon grease (white)
•   Slide onto KM-960 (2)
•   Drive in until flush using KM-960
11.   Attach crankshaft hub
•   Note crankshaft hub installation position
– Marking must point upwards
•   Replace bolt
12.   Tighten crankshaft hub bolt
Note:   Second person required
•   Counterhold with KM-956-1 / KM-956-2
•   Tighten bolt 150 Nm + 45°
•   Detach KM-956-1 / KM-956-2

13.   Attach crankshaft ribbed V-belt pulley
•   Tighten bolts 8 Nm
– Counterhold at crankshaft hub bolt
14.   Install ribbed V-belt
Note:   Note running direction
•   Tension ribbed V-belt tensioner with KM-6131
•   Remove KM-955-2
•   Release ribbed V-belt tensioner
15.   Install ribbed V-belt cover
Note:   With "ECO" model variant - install lower engine compartment cover LUREF_1.gif
•   Tighten 3 bolts
•   Install clip
16.   Lower vehicle
17.   Check and correct engine oil level
18.   Close bonnet
