Oil Filter Short-Circuit Valve, Replace (Z 18 XE,
with Oil Filter Cartridge)
 Remove

Disconnect crankshaft sensor wiring harness plug
|
| 2. |
Cut thread in bypass valve

Using thread cutter M10 (1) - 2nd stage
|
| • |
Using thread cutter M10 - 3rd stage
|

| 3. |
Remove bypass valve
Important: Carefully prise out
bypass valve
|

Screw in bolt (M10)
|
|
Install
| 4. |
Install bypass valve
Important: Remove cuttings
|
| • |
Carefully drive in to stop using journal (15 mm diameter)
|
|
| 5. |
Connect crankshaft sensor wiring harness plug
|
