Check fuel pressure (Z 12 XE, Z 12 XEP, Z 14 XEP, with air conditioning, LHD) > < Replace catalytic converter control oxygen sensor (Z 10 XE, Z 10 XEP, without air conditioning system, LHD)

Replace pedal travel sensor (Z 10 XE, Z 10 XEP, with air conditioning, LHD)

Note:   On vehicles as of model year 04 with ESP - every time the battery is disconnected, the steering angle sensor loses its basic setting. It must be recalibrated.

  Remove

1.   Open bonnet
2.   Disconnect battery
•   Detach ground cable
3.   Remove pedal sensor
•   Wiring harness plug (1)
•   Unscrew 3 nuts (2)

  Install

4.   Install pedal sensor
•   Tighten 3x nuts 9 Nm
•   Connect wiring harness plug
5.   Connect battery
6.   Close bonnet
7.   Program volatile memory
