J740500 replace coolant temperature sensor (Z 14
XE, Z 16 YNG with air conditioning, RHD)

1. Open bonnet
2. Remove coolant temperature sensor
- Place collecting basin underneath.
- Disconnect wiring harness plug (arrow)
3. Install coolant temperature sensor
- Replace seal ring
- Tighten coolant temperature sensor (20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft.)
- Connect wiring harness plug.
4. Check and correct coolant level
- Note: Top up and bleed cooling system – see operation
"Cooling System, Top Up and Bleed".
- Observe specified coolant quantity
5. Close bonnet
