| Cause: |
Injector blocked due to particles coming
from a poor grinding and deburring process of the top surface of
the lower injector body. |
| Production: |
Modified machining process of injector,
especially lower injector body. Countermeasures effective with
engine number: .....834260 (30.10.2003) |
Remedy:
In case of customer complaint replace affected injector in case of concern.
For diagnostic reasons the injectors can be switched off cylinder specific
(if no DTC is stored).
Please note:
The injector code (Injector Flow Adjustment) has to be programmed after
replacement (please refer to TSB 1632).
