Fluid pump, clean and assemble (AF13-II)
Note: This operation
is only required if the fluid pump needs cleaning.
 Remove

Dismantle fluid pump in accordance with explosion drawing:

Driven gear

|

|
8 bolts

|

|
Seal ring (slotted)

Thrust washer (plastic)

Fluid pump plate

|

|
Drive gear
|
|

|
6 bolts
|
|
|
Install
| 3. |
Clean all the components carefully.
|
| 4. |
Check all components for wear
| • |
Replace oil pump if necessary
|
|
| 5. |
Assemble fluid pump in accordance with explosion drawing
|
|
| 6. |
Mark (arrow) on driven gear (2) points to fluid pump plate
(1)
|
|
| 7. |
Check bushing (arrow) in pump housing for damage and/or
wear
| • |
Replace oil pump if necessary
|
|
| 8. |
Drive in new seal ring (1) with KM-674 (3)
|
| 9. |
Install new O-ring (2)
|
| 10. |
Install new seal rings (slotted) (4)
|
| 11. |
Tighten 8 bolts of fluid pump plate at pump housing 12 Nm
|
