Seal valve body cover (AF13-II)
 Remove
| 2. |
Remove upper coolant hose (1)
|
| 3. |
Remove fan housing with fan motor 
|
| 4. |
Detach lower coolant hose (3) from radiator
|
| 5. |
Pull bleeder hose (2) from valve body cover
|
|
|
| 6. |
Drain transmission fluid.

Remove drain bolt (1) and collect transmission fluid
|
|
| 7. |
Remove lower fluid cooler line
|
| 8. |
Detach upper oil cooler lines from transmission
Note: Fluid escapes
– place pan underneath.

Remove valve body cover
| • |
Unscrew 13 bolts (arrows) from valve body cover
Note: Fluid escapes
– place pan underneath.
If necessary use plastic hammer to loosen cover.

Install
| 10. |
Clean sealing surfaces and remove gasket residue
|
| 11. |
Attach valve body cover to transmission
Note: Pay attention to
different bolt lengths.

Clean bolt and transmission housing threads
|
| • |
Coat bolt with locking compound
|
| • |
Coat valve body cover with sealing compound
|
|
| 12. |
Attach transmission fluid drain bolt (1)
|
| 13. |
Attach upper fluid cooler line to transmission
|
| 14. |
Install lower fluid cooler line
|
|
|
| 15. |
Attach bleeder hose (2) to valve body cover
|
| 16. |
Attach lower coolant hose (3) to radiator
|
| 17. |
Install fan housing with fan motor
|
| 18. |
Install upper coolant hose (1)
|
| 19. |
Top up cooling system
|
| 20. |
Check and correct transmission fluid level
|
|
