Replace wiring harness for selector lever assembly
(AF13-II)
 Remove

Survey - Wiring harness plug X51 pin assignments
|

| 3. |
Remove selector lever assembly 
|
| 4. |
Unclip automatic transmission console insert (arrows) and pull
upwards
|
| 5. |
Remove bulbs with socket out of automatic transmission console
insert
|
| 6. |
Pull bulbs out of socket
|
|
|
| 7. |
Clip selector lever actuation wiring harness from wiring
harness bracket (3)
|
| 8. |
Disconnect ground cable (arrow) from ground connection
|
| 9. |
Push cable with spring contact for economy/sport shifting tip
switch (pin 2 in plug X51) and winter program tip switch (pins 3, 4
and 5 in plug X51) out of wiring harness with MKM-923-22

Disconnect selector lever lock solenoid switch (5) wiring plug
(4)
|
| 11. |
Unclip wiring harness plug (1) out of selector lever assembly
and remove selector lever actuation wiring harness
|
|
|
Install
| 12. |
Connect wiring plug (1) of selector lever solenoid switch
(2)
|
| 13. |
Push cable with spring contact for economy/sport shifting tip
switch (PIN 2 in plug X51) and winter program tip switch (PINS 3, 4
and 5 in plug X51) into wiring harness plug (3)

Clip wiring harness plug into selector lever assembly
|
| 15. |
Connect ground cable to ground connection
|
| 16. |
Clip bulbs and holders into automatic transmission console
insert
| • |
Insert bulbs into socket.
|
|
| 17. |
Clip automatic transmission console insert onto console.
|
| 18. |
Clip shift lever actuation wiring harness into wiring harness
bracket (5)
| • |
Secure shift lever actuation wiring harness with cable ties

|
| 19. |
Install selector lever assembly
|
| 20. |
Install centre console
|
|
|
| 21. |
Check selector lever safety functions
|
|
