Subject: F13/F17 Transmission-Easytronic (MTA) - Engine does not start

Complaint: Vehilce does not start, "N" is flashing in the display.
Cause: Customer does not step on the brake pedal or pedal force is insufficient.
Production: Since MY 2006 all vehicles with MTA/Easytronic have got a tag attached to the key informing the customer to step on brake pedal during start of the engine (see pictures).

Remedy:

Note: Please do not remove key tag during PDI or before vehicles is hand over to customer.

Instruct sales stuff to ensure that customer are informed about the engine start procedure according key tag.
