Tank Vent Valve, Remove And Install (From Model Year '04)

  Remove

2.   Release coolant return hose of throttle valve module (2) •   Release clamp (1) – from throttle valve module •   Unclip coolant return hose (arrow) and lay aside 3.   Release engine vent hose at intake manifold (5) •   from intake manifold •   Unclip hose and lay aside 4.   Detach bracket of heater core coolant supply hose (3) •   Unclip coolant supply hose (4) and lay aside •   Unclip bracket

5.   Remove tank vent valve (2) •   Detach purging air hose (3) and lay aside •   Disconnect wiring harness plug (1) •   Unscrew 2x bolt (arrows)

  Install

6.   Install tank vent valve (2) •   Replace seal ring •   Tighten 2 bolts (arrows) •   Connect purging air hose (3) •   Attach wiring harness plug (1)

7.   Attach bracket of heater core coolant supply hose (3) •   Clip in bracket of coolant supply hose (3, 4) 8.   Fasten engine vent hose at intake manifold (5) 9.   Fasten coolant return hose of throttle valve module (2) •   Fasten clamp (1) •   Clip in coolant return hose (2) (arrow)
