Fuel Filler Pipe, Remove and Install - Model F 06, F 25 (Diesel)

  Remove

1.   Empty fuel tank with fuel transfer unit
Note:   Fuel escapes – observe safety measures and national legislation.
•   Store drained fuel in suitable locking container.

2.   Remove fuel filler pipe rubber seal.
3.   Remove upper fuel filler tube (1) fastening bolt.
4.   Remove right hand wheel arch protective housing LUREF_1.gif

5.   Remove upper bleeder hose (1).

6.   Detach vent hose (1) and disconnect cable ties (4).
7.   Lay aside guard tube (6) with bleeder hoses.
8.   Detach fuel filler hose (5) from fuel filler pipe (2).
9.   Remove fuel filler pipe fastening bolt (3) and remove fuel filler pipe.

  Install

10.   Insert fuel filler pipe and attach to rear frame
Note:   Tightening torque 13 Nm
11.   Attach fuel filler hose to fuel filler pipe.
12.   Attach guard tube with bleeder hoses to fuel filler pipe.
13.   Attach lower bleeder hose
14.   Attach upper bleeder hose
15.   Attach upper fastening bolt, fuel filler pipe
Note:   Tightening torque 3 Nm
16.   Attach right-hand wheel arch protective housing LUREF_1.gif
17.   Install fuel filler pipe rubber seal.
18.   Fill fuel tank with fuel transfer unit
