Fuel Filter Housing, Remove and Install
Y 17 DT, Y 17 DTL
Warning: Fuel
escapes – observe safety measures and national
legislation.
 Remove
| 1. |
Disconnect wiring harness plug (2) for fuel pre-heater.

| 2. |
Lift fuel filter housing carefully upwards and out of crash
box.
|
| 3. |
Detach fuel hose (1) and fuel line (3) at quick-release
fastenings of fuel filter housing cover

seal off with Closure Plug KM-6015

| 4. |
Remove fuel filter housing
|
|
|
Install
| 5. |
Insert fuel filter housing in crash box and push downwards into
guide.
|
| 6. |
Connect wiring harness plug (2) for fuel pre-heating at fuel
filter housing lid.
|
| 7. |
Remove Closure Plugs KM-6015 from
fuel hose and fuel line.
|
| 8. |
Attach fuel hose (1) and fuel line (3) to fuel filter housing
cover
Note: Quick-release
fittings must engage audibly. Note arrangement.
