Front Fuel Return Line, Remove and Install

Affects diesel engines Z 13 DT, Z 13 DTJ

Warning:   Fuel escape - safety requirements and country-specific regulations should be observed. Drained fuel should be stored in a suitable, sealable container.

  Remove

2.   Detach fuel return line (1) from fuel filter housing (2) •   detach with KM-796-A •   seal off with KM-6015 3.   Detach fuel return line from fuel distributor pipe (arrow) •   detach with KM-796-A •   seal with KM-807 4.   Detach fuel return line (1) from upper bulkhead •   2 clips

6.   Detach fuel return line (1) from lower bulkhead •   2 clips 7.   Separate front fuel return line (1) from centre fuel return line (2) and remove •   detach with KM-796-A •   seal off with KM-6015

  Install

8.   Fit front fuel return line (1) and connect with centre fuel line (2) •   Detach KM-6015 •   Quick-release fitting must audibly engage 9.   Attach fuel return line to lower bulkhead •   2 clips (arrows)

11.   Attach front fuel return line (1) to upper bulkhead •   2 clips 12.   Attach fuel return line (1) to fuel distributor pipe (arrow) •   Detach KM-807 13.   Attach fuel return line (1) to fuel filter housing (2) •   Detach KM-6015 •   Quick-release fitting must audibly engage
