Front Fuel Return Line, Remove and Install
Affects diesel engines Z 13 DT, Z 13 DTJ
Warning: Fuel escape
- safety requirements and country-specific regulations should be
observed. Drained fuel should be stored in a suitable, sealable
container.
Remove

Detach fuel return line (1) from fuel filter housing (2)

3. |
Detach fuel return line from fuel distributor pipe (arrow)
|
4. |
Detach fuel return line (1) from upper bulkhead
|
|
|
5. |
Remove alternator
Note: For the Combo-C
with Z 13 DT and Z 13 DTJ engines
|
6. |
Detach fuel return line (1) from lower bulkhead
|
7. |
Separate front fuel return line (1) from centre fuel return
line (2) and remove
|
|
|
Install
8. |
Fit front fuel return line (1) and connect with centre fuel
line (2)
• |
Quick-release fitting must audibly engage
|
|
9. |
Attach fuel return line to lower bulkhead
|
|
|
10. |
Install alternator
Note: For the Combo-C
with Z 13 DT and Z 13 DTJ engines

Attach front fuel return line (1) to upper bulkhead
|
12. |
Attach fuel return line (1) to fuel distributor pipe
(arrow)
|
13. |
Attach fuel return line (1) to fuel filter housing (2)

Quick-release fitting must audibly engage

Program volatile memories

Check fuel system for leaks
