Remedy:

In case of customer complaint clean check strap, including riveted 
bolt (Picture I, arrow) by use of a cloth with suitable cleaning 
detergent until any dirt and grease residues are eliminated. 
If required remove corrosion by use of sandpaper.

Afterwards the cleaned surface of the riveted bolt needs to be painted 
with a suitable black paint. 

Ensure sufficient paint thickness to avoid further corrosion.

Apply grease to check strap where necessary.
