Replace curtain airbag (not deployed) - (L08) > < Replace airbag unit, passenger side

Replace curtain airbag (not deployed) - (L68)

  Remove

1.   Remove moulded headlining
Object Number: 10679422 Size: DEFAULT

2.   Detach curtain airbag
•   Release and disconnect wiring harness plug
•   Unscrew 7x bolt (arrows)
Important:   Never bend or kink the airbag unit!
3.   Remove curtain airbag
Note:   2nd mechanic required. Remove curtain airbag through tailgate opening.

  Install

4.   Install curtain airbag
•   Tighten 7x bolt 3.5 Nm
•   Connect and latch wiring harness plug
5.   Install moulded headlining
