Glow plugs > < Exhaust Manifold, Remove and Install

Removing and installing exhaust manifold

  Remove

1.   Remove turbocharger
2.   Remove exhaust manifold (1)
•   Unscrew 10x nut
•   Remove gasket (2)
Object Number: 2413865 Size: DEFAULT


  Install

3.   Clean sealing surfaces.
•   From exhaust manifold to cylinder head
•   From exhaust manifold to turbocharger
4.   Install exhaust manifold
•   Replace gasket
– Tighten 10x new nut 15 Nm + 30°
Note:   Coat thread with lubrication compound. Select suitable lubrication compound from the spare parts catalogue.
5.   Install turbocharger
