Detach front seat backrest upholstery from cushion – see operation "Upholstery/Cushion – Front Seat Backrest, Remove and Install" in group "C".

Detach wiring harness plug (2) for front seat backrest heater mat and guide through seat upholstery. Detach heater mat from cushion.

Cement the heater mat to the cushion in the old position. Remove the protective backing strips from the adhesive strips on the heater mat.

Guide wiring harness plug for front seat backrest heater mat through seat upholstery and connect wiring harness plug. Connect wiring harness plug for connection to front seat heater mat.
