MEASURED WHEEL SPEED THRESHOLDS

Select F6: Wheel Sensors in system menu

Accerelate vehicle to just above 20 km/h (12.5 mph).

After this speed is attained, put transmission into idle (neutral) and allow vehicle to roll to a halt, do not actuate service brake.

When the vehicle is rolling to a halt, the parking brake can be engaged slightly to shorten the procedure.

When vehicle is at a standstill, actuate brakes.

Note:

During the wheel speed sensor test, the wheel speed values of ail four speed sensors are compared continually. The speed values reveal the sensitivity of each wheel speed sensor.

After stopping the vehicle, four values are displayed, all of which should be higher than 5 km/h (3 mph). It is important that the wheel speed sensor test be performed with the vehicle travelling straight ahead. If a value is outside the range, carry out trouble - shooting in F0: DATA LIST according to test steps 01 and 02.
