Disassemble
Cut through vacuum hose at both connections of check valve, at
vacuum pipe and brake servo connection and remove.
Assemble
Cut new vacuum hose (textile outer layer) to measured length and
install with new hose clamps. Ensure that arrows on check valve
point towards intake manifold. Insert vacuum connections into check
valve. Install hose clamp to vacuum pump. Screw on bracket for
vacuum pipe. Insert vacuum hose (1) into brake servo. Screw on
upper engine cover.
Inspect
Ensure that all connections are perfectly tight. Check function
of brake servo – see operation "Brake Servo, Check
Function".
