Crankshaft Out-of-round, Check
Prerequisite: Crankshaft removed and only loosely laid in cylinder block.
Inspect
Attach dial gauge MKM-571-B with dial gauge bracket to cylinder block. Apply probe of dial gauge MKM-571-B to crankshaft bearing journal. Turn crankshaft uniformly. Max. perm. out-of-round: 0.03 mm.
Attach crankshaft bearing cap with new bolts to cylinder block – tightening torque 50 Nm / 37 lbf. ft. + 45° + 15°.
