Note:

There are different control units for vehicles with automatic transmission and vehicles with manual transmission. Each type is stored internally in the control unit. If an incorrect display appears on TECH 1 ("MT" for vehicles with automatic transmission and vice versa), an incorrect control unit is installed in the vehicle.

The control unit part numbers for each transmission type are listed in section 5.6 "Table 3, Control Unit Coding Table".
