·   Final stage diagnosis in control unit

·   After the engine is started, the fault is recognized after 0.6 s while the TC is active (no pulse - width modulated signal due to short circuit to ground)

Effects:

·   On fault recognition, the fault is stored and the Traction Control is switched off if the fault was also recognized by the engine control unit.
