Solenoid Valves in Intermediate Casing, Replace
(except Y 25 DT)
 Remove
|
Remove transmission fluid pan (intermediate housing) – see
operation "Transmission Fluid Pan (Intermediate Housing), Remove
and Install and/or Seal, Replace".
Disconnect wiring harness plug from relevant solenoid valve,
pressure regulator (1) or converter clutch (2).

Unscrew screw (1) and remove with retaining plate (2). Remove
pressure regulator solenoid valve (3) with spring washer from valve
seat.

|
|
Unscrew screw (1) and remove with washer (2), if present. Remove
converter clutch solenoid valve (3) from valve seat – do not
pull on wiring harness plug to remove solenoid valve.
Torque
Install converter clutch solenoid valve (3) with bolt (1) and
washer (2), if present – tightening torque 13 Nm / 10 lbf.
ft.

Attach pressure regulator solenoid valve (3) with spring washer
to valve seat and fasten with bolt (1) and retaining plate (2)
– tightening torque 13 Nm / 10 lbf. ft.
Install
Connect wiring harness plug to relevant solenoid valve.
Install transmission fluid pan (intermediate housing) –
see operation "Transmission Fluid Pan (Intermediate Housing),
Remove and Install and/or Seal, Replace".
