Rear Floor - Minor Section, Replace (Models F35, F19, F68) (Additional operation to "Body Rear Quarter Panel, Replace", "Lower Rear End Panel, Replace). In general: "Aftersales" continues to supply floor panels with larger lengths. With smaller damage, the floor panel can be repaired shortened.
 Remove, Disconnect Attaching parts. Rear floor panel, detach acc. to dimensional specifications.
 Install, Connect Fit rear floor. Prepare flanges. Apply spot weld paint. Weld in new part. Notice: Partial replacement must always proceed across the entire width of the floor for reasons of body structure. |

Notice: As of Model Year 2001, the pin fastening for the heat shield in the area of the rear body floor has been changed by adding 2 screw pins. Once they have all been used, the Aftersales division will supply body sheet metal parts as of Model Year 2001. When replacing the rear floor or rear floor heat shield, if the fastening holes in the heat shield do not coincide with the position of the welding pins, proceed as follows.
Install, Connect Hold heat shield against the vehicle floor and transfer fastening points. Drill 8 mm bore at marked positions on the heat shield. Attach heat shield.
