Locking Belt - Child Seat, Remove and Install  

  Remove, Disconnect   

Release upholstery on corresponding rear side of rear seat backrests - see operation "Upholstery / Cushion - Rear Seat Backrests, Remove and Install".   Locking belt for child seat (4) from rear seat backrests (1).     Install, Connect    When replacing rear seat backrests or retrofitting locking belt for child seat: insert rivet nuts (3) in large bore Ø 11.3 mm and secure with Hand Riveting Tongs MKM-594-A (Insert M6/MKM-594-2). Secure locking belt for child seat to rear seat backrests (5).     Important!    Insert locking belt guide for child seat (4) with detent lug into small bore (2) and screw on securely to prevent it from coming loose.     Tighten (Torque)    Locking belt for child seat to rear seat backrests - 6 Nm / 4.5 lbf. ft.

  Install, Connect   

Upholstery for rear seat backrests. Guide locking belt for child seat between rear seat backrests and seat bench.
