Master Cylinder Brake Fluid Level Sensor Replacement

 

Brake Fluid Level Sensor, Remove and Install  

Object Number: 616191 Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Disconnect wiring harness plug (1) from brake fluid level sensor.  

Unscrew cover with brake fluid level sensor from brake fluid reservoir.  

Object Number: 616196 Size: DEFAULT  Inspect   

Function check:  

With wiring harness plug connected, pull float downwards; when the parking brake is releases, the telltale in the instrument panel must illuminate. If it does not illuminate, the cover together with sensor must be replaced.  

Object Number: 616192 Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Screw on cover with brake fluid level sensor and connect wiring harness plug.  

Object Number: 2391748 Size: DEFAULT
