Wheel Brake Cylinder, Repair > < Allocation / Technical Data - Brake Master Cylinder to Engine Versions

 

Wheel Brake Cylinder, Remove and Install  

Object Number: 616191  Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Correct brake fluid level up to "MAX" marking and seal with Dummy Screw Cap MKM-558-10.  

Detach rear wheel.  

Remove brake shoes - see operation "Brake Shoes, Drum Brake, Remove and Install".  

Unscrew brake line (2) - collect escaping brake fluid seal fluid apertures. Unscrew bolt (1) and remove wheel brake cylinder.  

Object Number: 616196  Size: DEFAULT  Inspect   

Check brake shoes - brake shoes which are soiled with brake fluid must be replaced.  

Object Number: 2391767  Size: DEFAULT

 

 

Object Number: 616192  Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Attach wheel brake cylinder to brake anchor plate. Attach brake line to wheel brake cylinder.  

Install brake shoes - see operation "Brake Shoes, Drum Brake, Remove and Install".  

Object Number: 616196  Size: DEFAULT  Inspect   

Remove dummy screw cap from brake fluid reservoir.  

Bleed brake system bleed and check for leaks - see operation "Brake System, Bleed and Check for Leaks".  

Object Number: 616199  Size: DEFAULT  Tighten (Torque)   

Wheel brake cylinder to brake anchor plate - 9 Nm / 7 lbf. ft.  

Brake line to wheel brake cylinder - 16 Nm / 12 lbf. ft.  

Wheel to wheel hub - 110 Nm / 81 lbf. ft.
