Brake Disc - Front Wheel Brake, Remove and Install  

  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove front wheels. Detach retaining plate (1). Remove brake hose from bracket. Detach wiring harness for brake lining sensor. Unbolt bolts (2) from steering knuckle. Remove and suspend brake caliper with brake carrier - brake system remains closed.   Unscrew engagement bolt (3) and remove brake disc.

  Install, Connect   

Ensure that contact surface between front wheel hub and brake disc is plane and free from burrs.  

Attach brake disc with detent screw to front wheel hub.  

Attach brake carrier with brake calliper to steering knuckle.  

Attach brake hose to bracket and insert locking plate. Connect wiring harness for brake lining sensor - make sure that cable routing is correct.  

Attach front wheels.  

  Tighten (Torque)   

Brake disc to front wheel hub - 4 Nm / 3 lbf. ft.  

Brake carrier to steering knuckle - 95 Nm / 70 lbf. ft. ¹⁾ .  

Wheel to wheel hub - 110 Nm / 81 lbf. ft.  

1)  Re-cut thread before re-use and insert new fastening bolts with bolt locking compound (red).
