Exhaust Manifold (Cylinders 2-4-6), Remove and Install (X 25 XE)
 Remove, Disconnect Disconnect covers (3 units) above air deflector panel. Disconnect wiring harness plug for both oxygen sensors - note cable routing. Remove front exhaust pipe. Remove fan housing with fan motor - see operation "Fan Motor, Remove and Install". Remove fastening screw (1) for coolant pipe and oil dip stick guide tube attaching strap. Turn coolant pipe upward and pull out of thermostat housing. Remove oil dipstick guide tube from cylinder block. Detach power steering pump pressure line from intake manifold bracket. Disconnect heat shield from exhaust manifold (3 fastening bolts). Remove fastening bolts (2) lay secondary air metal pipe with secondary air combination valve to the rear. Detach exhaust manifold from cylinder head.
 Clean Remove gasket remnants and clean sealing surfaces. |

 Important! Leaks in secondary air system can cause damage to catalytic converter and engine.
 Install, Connect Attach exhaust manifold with new gasket and new fastening nuts to cylinder head - tightening torque 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft. Attach secondary air metal pipe to exhaust manifold - insert fastening bolts with assembly paste (white) - tightening torque 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft. Fasten secondary air combination valve to exhaust manifold - tightening torque 8 Nm / 6 lbf. ft. Attach heat shield to exhaust manifold. Attach power steering pump pressure line to intake pipe bracket. Attach new seal rings to oil dipstick guide tube and lightly coat with silicone grease (white). Insert oil dipstick guide tube into cylinder block.
Install, Connect Attach new seal rings to coolant pipe and lightly coat with silicone grease (white). Insert coolant pipe into thermostat housing and secure to cylinder head with the oil dipstick guide tube fastening strap - tightening torque 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft. Install fan housing with fan motor - see operation "Fan Motor, Remove and Install". Install front exhaust pipe with new gaskets. Connect wiring harness plug of both oxygen sensors - route cables of oxygen sensors so that abrasion cannot occur and that they cannot contact the exhaust manifold. Connect covers (3 units) above air deflector panel.
