Intake Manifold Flange, Remove and Install (X 16 XEL without Secondary Air System)  

Object Number: 616191 Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove intake manifold - see operation "Intake Manifold, Remove and Install (X 16 XEL without Secondary Air System)".  

Remove coolant hose (arrow) from inlet manifold flange (1) - collect escaping coolant.  

Remove inlet manifold flange from cylinder head.  

Detach coolant flange (2) from cylinder head and lay aside to rear.  

Object Number: 616195 Size: DEFAULT  Clean   

Remove gasket remnants and clean sealing surfaces.  

Object Number: 2400231 Size: DEFAULT

 

 

Object Number: 616192 Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Attach coolant flange and inlet manifold flange with new seal to cylinder head - tightening torque 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft.  

Attach coolant hose to inlet manifold flange - ensure correct seating.  

Install intake manifold - see operation "Intake Manifold, Remove and Install (X 16 XEL without Secondary Air System)".
