Radiator (With Air Conditioning), Remove and Install  

  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove fan housing - see operation "Fan Motor, Remove and Install (with AC)".   Remove auxiliary fan housing - see operation "Auxiliary Fan Motor, Remove and Install (X 16 XEL with Secondary Air System)" or "Auxiliary Fan Motor, Remove and Install (X 16 XEL without Secondary Air System, Y 16 XE, Z 16 XE, X 18 XE1, Z 18 XE, Z 18 XEL)"   For version with automatic transmission: Lever off retaining clip (1) from quick fitting with screwdriver and detach oil cooling lines - collect escaping transmission fluid.   Detach coolant hoses (2) and (3) from radiator and detach fastening bolt (4) from dryer flange - collect escaping coolant.   Carefully remove radiator upwards.

  Install, Connect   

Carefully insert radiator into lower bracket.  

Attach radiator to dryer flange and coolant hoses to radiator.  

For version with automatic transmission: Connect oil cooler lines and fasten with retaining clips.  

Install auxiliary fan housing - see operation "Auxiliary Fan Motor, Remove and Install (X 16 XEL with Secondary Air System)" or "Auxiliary Fan Motor, Remove and Install (X 16 XEL without Secondary Air System, Y 16 XE, Z 16 XE, X 18 XE1, Z 18 XE, Z 18 XEL)"  

Install fan casing - see operation "Fan Motor, Remove and Install (with AC)".  

Top up cooling system - see operations "Cooling System, Top up and Bleed" and "Cooling System, Check for Leaks".  

Version with AT: check transmission fluid level - see operation "Transmission Fluid Level, Top up and Correct" in group "K".
