Coolant Temperature Sensor, Remove and Install (X 16 XEL)  

Object Number: 616191 Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Disconnect wiring harness plug (1) from coolant temperature sensor.  

Remove coolant temperature sensor (2) out of thermostat housing - collect escaping coolant.  

Object Number: 616192 Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Install coolant temperature sensor in thermostat housing - tightening torque 14 Nm / 10 lbf. ft.  

Connect wiring harness plug to coolant temperature sensor.  

Top up cooling system - see operations "Cooling System, Top up and Bleed" and "Cooling System, Check for Leaks".
