Engine Damping Blocks, Engine, Short-block Engine Damping Blocks, Front, Remove and Install Notice: Engine damping blocks may be replace in pairs only.
Remove, Disconnect Detach air intake hose. Disconnect torque support from both torque support brackets. In I: Remove lateral engine compartment cover. Remove front axle body - see operation "Front Axle Body, Remove and Install" in group "E". Lower complete drive unit using Engine Bridge MKM-883-1 until fastening nut (1) is accessible. Disconnect engine damping block from engine damping block bracket and from transmission bracket - note installation position. |

Install, Connect Connect engine damping block to engine damping block bracket and to transmission bracket - note installation position - tightening torque 45 Nm / 33.2 lbf. ft. Install front axle body - see operation "Front Axle Body, Remove and Install" in group "E". In I: Install lateral engine compartment cover. Connect torque support to both torque support brackets - tightening torque 60 Nm / 44.2 lbf. ft. |

Notice: Before assembling components of the intake system (hoses, connections, etc.), they must be cleaned of any possible contamination (grease, oil, etc.). When tightening the hose clamps, be sure to observe exactly the tightening torque of 3.5 Nm / 2.6 lbf. ft.
Important! It is only ensured that the intake system is free of leaks, thus ensuring operational safety of the engine, if the hose clamps are tightened correctly to the prescribed tightening torque.
Install, Connect Install air intake hose.
