Oil Pan, Remove and Install (X 16 SZR without AC)  

  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove front exhaust pipe (1).   If present: detach wiring harness plug from dynamic oil level control sensor.   Remove oil drain bolt - collect escaping engine oil.   Remove lower wheel well panelling.   Remove flywheel cover plate (2).   Remove oil pan (3) from cylinder block and oil pump.     Clean    Remove gasket remnants and clean sealing surfaces.

  Install, Connect   

Apply a bead of adhesive sealing compound (black) to joints (arrows) of oil pump and rear crankshaft bearing cap.   Attach oil pan to cylinder block with new gasket - tightening torque 10 Nm / 7 lbf. ft.   Attach oil drain bolt to oil pan with new seal ring - tightening torque 55 Nm / 40.6 lbf. ft.   Attach flywheel cover plate - tightening torque 7 Nm / 5 lbf. ft.   If present: connect wiring harness plug for dynamic oil level control sensor.   Install front exhaust pipe with new gaskets.   Install lower wheel well panelling.   Top up engine oil to "MAX" mark on dipstick.
