Ribbed V-belt Tension, Check  

Notice: 

F 3784 shows 20 NEJ and 16 LZ2. For X 16 SZR proceed analogously.  

  Inspect   

The ribbed V-belt tension is adjusted via the automatic ribbed V-belt tension roller.   Merely the position of the movable tensioner arm (2) for the ribbed V-belt tension roller can be checked. It should lie between the stops (1) and (3).   If the movable tensioner arm (2) for the ribbed V-belt tension roller touches stop (1), then the ribbed V-belt and the ribbed V-belt tension roller must be replaced - see operations "Ribbed V-belt, Remove and Install" and "Ribbed V-belt Tension Roller, Remove and Install".
