Check on cold engine - room temperature. This operation refers to run-in toothed belts only. When installing new toothed belts - see operation "Toothed Belt Tension, Adjust (16 LZ2 and 20 NEJ)".
Remove, Disconnect
Remove front toothed belt cover - see operation "Front Toothed Belt Cover, Remove and Install (16 LZ2 and 20 NEJ).
Adjust
At the fastening bolt of the toothed belt drive gear, turn crankshaft slowly and uniformly in engine rotational direction to mark (2). At the same time, notches (1) on the camshaft pulley and rear toothed belt cover must be aligned.
Inspect
Check installation position of coolant pump - adjust if necessary. The lug (2) on the coolant pump must be aligned with the counterpart (1) on the cylinder block.
The toothed belt tension is correctly adjusted when the pointer (4) is approx. 4 mm to the left of the notch (3).
If the toothed belt tension is not correctly adjusted - see operation "Toothed Belt Tension, Adjust (16 LZ2 and 20 NEJ)".
Install front toothed belt cover - see operation "Front Toothed Belt Cover, Remove and Install (16 LZ2 and 20 NEJ)".
Remove, Disconnect 
Adjust 
Inspect
