Check transmission fluid level - see operation "Transmission Fluid Level, Check and Correct". Ensure correct operation. For full load test, actuate parking brake and depress service brake. Full load test with 2250 to 2650 rpm. Due to danger of overheating, test at full load for not more than 5 seconds. Pause to cool. Only main pressure is checked.
 Inspect Check main pressure with KM-498-B and KM-580. Unscrew plug and connect adapter. Connection as shown in E 4151. Test values - see current Checking Procedures "Opel 4-speed Automatic Transmission AF 13/17/20/22". Install plug with new seal on transmission - tightening torque 8 Nm / 6 lbf. ft.
 Tighten (Torque) Plug at transmission - 8 Nm / 6 lbf. ft. |
