Replacing Slides Sunroof binding or noisy due to broken slide(s).

Technical Background
This may be caused by missing foam spacers (between headliner and sunroof assembly) resulting in sunroof sliding headliner binding causing slides to
break.
Production Solution
No change required.
Service
If sunroof sliding headliner slide(s) are broken or damaged:
DO NOT replace complete sliding headliner.

With sunroof open, check for foam spacers between sunroof frame - arrow- and headliner at both rear corners of sunroof.
If foam spacers are missing:
Partially remove molded headliner. See Repair Manual Group 70, Interior Trim.

Remove both sunvisors, sunvisor, clips and center sunvisor.
^
Remove center interior light and all grab handles.
^
Remove both A-pillar and B-pillar moldings.
