Timing Chain

‹› Mark the direction of rotation before removing (installed position).

Guide Rail

Intake Camshaft Adjuster

‹› Identification: 24E

‹› Only rotate the engine with the camshaft adjuster installed.

Bolt

‹› 60 Nm + 90° (1/4) additional turn

‹› Replace

‹› Bolt head contact surface of the adjuster must be dry when installing.

‹› To remove and install, counter hold at the camshaft using a 32 mm open end wrench. Refer to => [ Camshafts ] See: Camshaft, Lifters and

Push Rods/Camshaft/Service and Repair.

Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 (Exhaust) (N318)

‹› Mark the connector belonging to the component before disconnecting.
