Remove in numerical order

Install in reverse order

• Door handle with packing
• ◆ 1 fillister head screw 6 x 10
• ◆ 1 dished washer
• ◆ 1 fillister head screw 5 x 15
• ◆ 1 spring washer
• ◆ Handle can be installed and removed with interior trim in situ.

• ‒ Lever off door handle trim -arrow-.
• ‒ Remove fillister head screws and take off door handle.

• ‒ Unlock child safety catch.
• ‒ Remove hexagon socket head screws.
• ‒ Partially pull off lower part of door lock
• ‒ Secure operating lever -1- via mounting hole using a screwdriver.
• ‒ Detach operating rod -2-.
• ‒ Remove door lock from securing sleeve -3-.

• ‒ Wind down window and remove two hexagon bolts with oversize dished washers.
• ‒ Remove window channel and slot seals.
• ‒ Remove self-tapping screw and hexagon bolts -2- from guide rail.
• ‒ Remove guide rail and corner window.

Note:

Lubricate corner window seal before installation.

• ‒ Press check flap -3- for door ventilation inwards to remove.

• ‒ Install clips for door trim and window slot seals in the recesses so that 1 = 50 mm, 2 = 180 mm and 3 = 210 mm.

• ‒ Unscrew four hexagon socket head bolts - M 8 - and remove door.

• Tightening torque of bolts = 45 ± 5 Nm.

Note:

A second mechanic must hold the door during fitting and removing.
